Teeth Cleaning
Professional teeth cleanings are important not only for your smile but for your overall health. They are vital in removing gum disease-causing tartar that cannot be removed without professional assistance. Teeth cleanings help prevent cavities and gum disease, help detect oral cancer, aid in maintaining your overall health and help to save you money.
Dental Exam
We examine your mouth, including your teeth and gums. We evaluate your risk for developing oral health issues such as gum disease, decay, and oral cancer. If your visit is part of a yearly checkup, x-rays may be used to further assess areas of your mouth that are hard to see otherwise.
Patient Education
As part of your routine cleaning or gum treatment, we provide recommendations for your oral hygiene care at home or in the office. We also offer nutritional tips to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
Children Dentistry
We start to see children at 3 years old. By that time, a child should have 10 teeth on top and 10 teeth on bottom. Remember that tooth decay can occur as soon as the child’s first tooth has erupted, so you should begin brushing with a fluoride-free toothpaste.
Athletic Mouthguards
According to the American Dental Association, the use of an athletic mouthguard reduces the risk of sport-related dental injuries. Mouthguards that can be purchased over-the-counter neither fit nor protect as well as custom-made mouthguards from our office.
Dental Sealants
A sealant is a plastic resin material that is applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. The resin fills in the grooves of the teeth and creates a barrier against the bacteria that causes tooth decay.
Headaches and TMJ
If you have frequent migraines, clenching, grinding or jaw pain, you may be a candidate for a custom night guard. This is customized to relieve pressure on the muscles, joints and nerves that can cause TMJ-related migraines.
Snoring Treatment
A custom-fabricated dental device can help reduce or eliminate snoring. Wearing the device at night while sleeping gently moves the lower jaw forward and opens the space in the airway. This helps reduce the speed of the air and decreases the vibrations against the soft tissues. The device is customized to fit for maximized comfort.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Tooth Colored Fillings
Composite fillings are dental restorations made from a blend of resin. They are designed to match the natural color of your teeth. Providing a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to silver fillings.
Same Day CEREC Crowns
Need a crown but don’t have the time for two appointments? We place crowns and other ceramic restorations in a single visit with our amazing CEREC CAD/CAM technology. This eliminates the need for messy impressions and a temporary crown.
Dental Veneers
Chips, irregular shapes or discoloration of teeth are not uncommon and can make people hide their smiles or feel uncomfortable. If your teeth make you self-conscious for any reason, dental veneers may be a good solution to consider.
Dentures and Partials
Dentures and partials are removable dental appliances used to replace missing teeth and restore function and aesthetics.
Tooth Bonding
Cosmetic bonding corrects blemishes, gaps and irregular-sized teeth because of its ability to mimic the color and translucency of our actual teeth.
ZOOM! Teeth Whitening
This is a bleaching process that lightens the dentin and the teeth enamel. The procedure is three 20-minute cycles and is recommended for anyone age 18 or older.
Invisalign
From simple straightening to bigger fixes, Invisalign treatment could be right for you. Whether you just want to love your smile a little more, or you think you’ve got a particularly tough case, see what Invisalign treatment can do for you.
Restorative Dentistry
Resin Fillings
Resin composite fillings are made up of ceramic and plastic compounds. Resin allows us to choose a customized shade to match your specific tooth color.
Same Day CEREC Crowns
Need a crown but don’t have the time for two appointments? We place crowns and other ceramic restorations in a single visit with our amazing CEREC CAD/CAM technology.
Dental Implants
A dental implant may be right for you if you hide your smile because you have missing teeth or if they cause healthy gum issues.
Dentures Partials and Bridges
Dentures and partials are removable dental appliances used to replace missing teeth and restore function and aesthetics.
Root Canal
Root canal treatment is used to save teeth that would otherwise need to be removed. The treatment involves making an opening through the crown of the tooth, removing the pulp, cleaning the root canal, filling the pump chamber and placing a gold or porcelain crown over the tooth.
Tooth Extractions
This is the removal of a tooth when it is damaged, decayed or causes issues like crowding or infection.
Treatment of Gum Disease
Scaling and root planing is a deep cleaning procedure used to treat gum disease (periodontal disease) by removing plaque and tartar buildup below the gumline. It helps prevent further damage to the gums and bone, reducing inflammation and infection.
Bad Breath Treatment
Maintaining proper oral health can help reduce or eliminate bad breath, but specific treatment to cure bad breath depends upon the cause. Typically, good oral hygiene helps. But we also can do tongue cleaning and recommend an oral rinse.
