Gia Matsko, DDS
Dr. Matsko was raised in Montana and earned her degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Montana State University. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she was recognized with multiple honors, including the James Jensen Award for Excellence in Clinical Endodontics, the American Academy of Periodontology Award and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement Award.
Dr. Matsko chose dentistry because it allows her to combine her passions for science, art, and helping others. She is dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients of all ages through open communication. She is committed to providing education and comprehensive care, so every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident in their smile. She is happy to care for patients at every stage of life, offering preventive, restorative and surgical dentistry.
She is proud to be part of the team at Franklin Family Dentistry and looks forward to caring for her new community.
Outside the office, Dr. Matsko enjoys spending time with her husband, who is completing his training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Indiana University. They share their home with their adopted kitty, Nova. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, traveling, and long-distance running.
